“I wish to emphasise, above all, the effort and determination of Joan’s progression as an elite athlete in the world of motorcycling. Resident in Cunit, in his beginnings in the world of motorcycling, Joan was raised in a family with limited economic resources and constant work, without actual possibilities of facing the high cost of the world of motorbikes. His father’s ingenuity, passion, desire and devotion, and his uncle’s patience, obedience and efforts, allowed Joan to reach the point of showing his talent riding a motorbike.
Joan perceived space and speed at a rate of slowness much greater than the average of mortals, his other great virtue was given to him by his parents, due to the fact of appreciating every effort outside his career. An education that is given by parents who are devoted to their children with day-to-day work to raise 4 children and give them an education and a future.
This education allowed him to always value the effort and the cost of things, always giving 100% in every lap made on a race circuit, and always getting 100% out of the motorbike. A great tribute, respect and admiration to both of you".
